“In those early days in the construction of Milton Keynes we started Routeco PLC which became part of a new and fresh community. There was a special spirit of cohesion and a feeling of well being that created the desire to achieve a successful future for all.”
Peter and Jane moved to Milton Keynes as a young married couple, working for other locally based companies. They decided they would set up and develop their own company. They founded Routeco in 1978, and went on to establish it as one of the UK’s leading distributors of industrial automation and control products, employing 250 people. They shared their success as philanthropists, supporting many local charitable groups, particularly those that helped children and adults with educational disabilities.
