September 2025

This year’s International Day of Peace, Sunday 21 September saw a busy day of events and activities at the MK Rose attracting over 200 visitors throughout the day.

This year the International Day of Peace coincided with our annual Heritage Open Day tours and two tours were available for the public, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. The Ukrainian Appeal Charity and Sunflower School opened the activities for the International Day of Peace by performing their flower dance around the central Rose, the dance symbolizing growth, renewal and the dream of a brighter tomorrow. The day’s activities culminated with a celebration of prayers, songs and music organised by Truby’s Garden, MKPSC and MK Communities for Peace coming together to Act for a Peaceful World.
