Workers’ Memorial Day was marked with an event at the MK Rose on 26 April 2026. The event, with the theme “Remember the Dead, Fight for the Living,” brought together a group of approximately 40 trade union representatives, community leaders, and local residents. Participants gathered at the MK Theatre before processing to the MK Rose for speeches, a reflective silence, and wreath laying to remember those who have lost their lives, were injured, or made ill through their work.
