As part of Heritage Open Days, we are excited to announce the screening of the Living Archive MK’s new documentary film. The film tells the story of the Milton Keynes Rose in its 10th Anniversary year. The screening will take place on Friday 13 September 2024 in the MK Gallery Sky Room, 15:00-16:00.

You can also enjoy an Exhibition of Gordon Young’s source items and publicly gathered ephemera at the Milton Keynes Rose Archive Pop-Up Exhibition. For one day only and curated by Artist Jakub Rokita.

The exhibition takes place on Friday 13 September in the MK Gallery Event Space, 900 Midsummer Boulevard MK9 3QA, from 12 noon until 17:00. All our welcome and no booking is necessary to visit the Exhibition.

Nominations are now open for our next Pillar dedication. To find out more about how to nominate a Pillar click here or visit our About Us page on the website. The closing date for nominations is Monday 26 September 2024.

This tenth Pillar dedication is part of a year long celebration marking ten years since the opening of the Milton Keynes Rose. Memories and Memorabilia are also being sought to form an Archive.
