Jack Trevor Story
Died in Milton Keynes, the first writer in residence. He came to Milton Keynes and never left. Jack Trevor Story (1917 – 1991) was a British novelist, publishing prolifically from the 1940s to the 1970s.
The Jack Trevor Story Memorial Prize for a work of fiction or a body of work which best celebrates the spirit of J.T.S. is awarded sporadically and presented by Michael Moorcock: ‘The money shall be spent in a week to a fortnight and the author have nothing to show for it.’
